01. Who we are

HK Social is operated by Hokela Interactive Africa Ltd., registered in Kenya. Contact: privacy@hksocial.co.ke.

02. What we collect

Account data (name, email, role, company).

Event data (attendee counts, transactions, device IDs) — aggregated and de-identified wherever possible.

Technical data (IP, user agent, cookies) for security and analytics.

03. Why we collect it

To run the platform, settle payments, keep bad actors out, improve the product, and contact you about your account.

04. Who we share it with

Payment processors (M-Pesa, Visa/Mastercard), cloud providers (AWS, GCP), and — only with your consent — your event's organizers, vendors and sponsors.

05. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Email privacy@hksocial.co.ke and we'll respond within 30 days.

06. International transfers

Primary processing in East Africa. Some processors are located outside Kenya — we use Standard Contractual Clauses and DPA-compliant safeguards.

07. Updates

We'll notify you of material changes by email and at the top of this page.
